What FMIC did I just buy?

Before meeting up locally to purchase this intercooler for my VIII, the seller told me it was a Buschur Deluxe front mount that he had laying around for a few years. Judging by the seller's pictures I agreed it was. Once in person I noticed some markings that were unfamiliar to the old-school rear inlet Buschur Deluxe front mounts I had remembered seeing in the past. Googling shows 'NAPAC' is a Japanese Company but information is hard to understand.

NAPAC ASEA
A0 604 1B
703520-6011
(Part# matches Garrett core 24"x10.5"x3.5")
8 OCT-04 (assuming date)
HK 147 M

I'm wondering if this is a Buschur FMIC like presumed, has a Garret core like the inscription says and overall if this old thing would do a decent job. Thanks!

At first glance I thought Buschur also but I haven't see a rear setup like that and I can't tell how clean the welds are

Going to make an educated guess and say that is definitely a JDM part.

I have a similar badge on my carbing six point ladder brace.

Maybe someone will chime in on how to decipher these stickers.

Probably Buschur racing can answer your question.

Yeah i'd just send an email to Buschur's

It LOOKS like a Buschur fmic to me. Buschur does like to use the back door style, and from the few I've seen they do also inscribe info onto the plate, the mounting tabs and endtanks also look the part imo, so that's either a really OLD Buschur or some decent looking JDM FMIC. What's the inside look like?

PS. Just found this and if it is a Buschur it's an older deluxe version

and if you search 703520-6011

I'd say you're all set

I called David and he said he cannot remember if he did or did not use a NAPAC stamped core 10 years ago.

Before I install this FMIC, can any OG members comment if it will bolt up with the common upgraded LICPs? I think the ~2006 Deluxe versions required a Buschur specific pipe that replaced the turbo outlet also.

I have the Buschur deluxe on my car from when I purchased it. In my personal opinion the fitment is junk, and I have a Buschur hard pipes to match it up.
