head studs?

I am getting my 264 jun cams (with spring, retainers and cam gears) installed.
Should I replace my head studs too?

Thank you
Sebastian

yes. it makes more sense to go ahead and do it while your already in there. Plus if you mod any further, it's a good safety measure. They aren't very expensive and it's better safe than sorry.

The only answer to that is YES! You have already purchase great parts so you are doing the job right so drop one hundred extra bucks for headstuds it will be worth it even if you don't plan on running more than 19psi on the stock turbo. They are going to be exposed so better now than later. Just my .02

Jun parts are awsome so nice choice I know that you are consious on your selections.

For people who have replaced head studs, did you pull the head off or just leave it on and replace one bolt with a stud at a time?

can be done either way,I did it with head on,1 stud at a time and the best part is that the cams DO NOT have to be removed to do it.See How To's for easy step by step

If you are gonna install the springs and retainers head is gonna have to comes off anyways. Just make sure the head is bolted down to mitsu torque spec and in the same order, so you dont warp the head.
