I have a 03 evo 42k

mod's
rev2 map intake manifold
downpipe,exhaust test pipe
evo 9 turbo /stock 10.5 hotside
omni 4 bar map sensor
revolver cams
buschur uicp with stock 9 bov
invidia o2 housing
1100cc fic highz
single pump walbro 255 (mod'd)

The car was running before on 1650cc's and the only thing that changed are:
1100cc injectors high z from low
mod'd fuel pump & fuel sock (oem)
tune, plugs.



In the middle of tuning with Tom. (tscomp)

car runs lean before full boost at 50% throttle or less... (almost like a hesitation before boost)

I've attached a log... any input would be help full.. but the car can also do 100% pull WOT with no issues..??

usually doesn't spike to 19a/f usually goes to about 16 before going back to 12's

Possible issues?
Battery?
Fuel pump going out?
Fuel Sock ( which was just changed to a new one)
FPR

You really should ask Tom since he is doing the tuning. Im sure he can explain it to you.

 

^ we are going back and forth at whats going on with it... I'd thought i'd post it up to see if anyone else had any other inputs on it...

I had the same issue, I tried injectors, o-rings, plugs, fuel pump, fpr, boost leak test all nothing..
It would lean out whenever I attempted to go on boost. I had knocks too though.

Turned out my headgasket was going..
