V-Band Downpipe Help

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up a motor/trans/transfer case/turbo kit for my car. I'm posting here because I've got a couple of questions about exhaust fitment for the Garret GT35R w/ Tial 44mm external WG I'm going to be swapping over. The guy I bought the parts from crushed his downpipe when he ran over a median a couple of months ago. He's been running a front bumper exit exhaust setup and I'm gonna need to pass PA emissions & safety inspection this month. So I'm obviously going to run into issues there since the current exhaust has no catalytic converter.

Here's my question:
I'm told that I need a V-Band downpipe for this turbo, but I don't know if it will fit with the rest of my exhaust. I have a Buschur Racing 3" catback. Can I throw just any V-Band downpipe on there, or do I need to get a full V-Band exhaust? I really don't want to have to buy a full exhaust, as buying the above parts has already put a pretty darn big hole in my pocket.

The Buschur catback is a 2 bolt flange IIRC, so just get a regular v-band to 2 bolt flange downpipe.

The only problem you're going to face, and it is a huge misfortune, is that no one really makes a v-band downpipe alone. Maybe Turbo XS, I'm not sure, but you'll have to contact Buschur or ETS or STM or MAPerformance, or any of those Evo giants to ask if they'll make one for you.
