hey whats going on evom. long story short i blew up my 2.0 evo and now looking to build the motor. question is can you daily driver a stroker kit (2.1 2.2 2.3). really don't want a 2.0 and 2.4 involves doing a motor swap witch i don't want too do even tho its gonna be out of the car already. please don't leave stupid comments just trying to get a serious answer because im gonna have to decide on witch build i wanna do by the end of the week.

 

First of all, when you say you "below up your 2.0" I'm assuming you mean pistons and rods etc.. are no good, and the block is fine.

If that is the case, then you don't need to do a motor swap to do another 2.0. You can just overbore your cylinders and keep it 2.0 or alternatively go 2.3.

A 2.4 and 2.1 will involve a motor swap (4g64) so I'm guessing that's out of the question

The 2.2 can be done on either the 4g63 or 4g64 so that's really your choice.

And yes, strokers can be daily driven.
