Hi, Ive been reading and researching the P0300 code but I still dont know what it exactly does yet. I have the P0300 code and in neutral my idle turns to crap. It drops to 300, all the red lights go on, and then it jumps back to 800 rpm at idle. I stalled from downgearing from 3rd to 2nd.... All I have on my car is K&N Intake and greddy turbo timer. Everything else is stock. So can someone please tell me what it feels like to misfire and if the P0300 misfire code is causeing my car to choke and die at low speed or idle?

 

Take the intake off and try that, also re-gap the plugs. I used to get the 0300 errors but have not in a while now.

 

I feel a random 'missing' upon tip in of the throttle, usually in 4th or 5th at around 3000-4000 rpms. The car doesn't want to accelerate and you can hear the engine rhythmically misfiring.
