I have one on order so I will comment on the unit. And no, I don't have any idea when I will see the unit as it is already two weeks beyond last date I received from Quantum. Assume that I will post a review at some point.
Given that it only does peak hold I don't consider it a logger. A logger in my book logs over time one or more outputs from the engine (e.g. timing, boost, a/f ratio, etc). The vendor states that at some point in the future they could release an interface to a computer where data can be logged.
This unit is a replacement for multiple gauges, where one can program warning limits. Basically it allows one to monitor a large number of engine parameters. It also allows you to hook up a light or buzzer to signal if a programmed limit is exceeded.
It is notable that at this time EGT is not supported, but again the vendor states that this is a future option. The sensor is on the price list, so this feature is only a matter of time and a software upgrade.

pocketlogger I find to be WAY too slow on OBD2 cars.

Pocketlogger sampling rate on the Evo is 19/sec., which is pretty good compared to others. The Pocketlogger doesn't determine the sampling rate, it's just a display much like the Psi unit but not as fancy. Each OBD2 car model sampling rates differ. Some are slow, some are fast. If it's slow with a Pocketlogger, it'll be slow on the Psi unit.

ECU+ absolute best! Way more functions than all the others, plus its a piggyback for when you're in a bind, MAF translator, injector scaler, switchable maps, inputs, outputs, OBD logging, rom tracing, rom editing, etc etc etc. Amazing value too. Bar none, best logger ever.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Mitsulogger. Its free, and was develpoed by MalibuJack who is a forum member and EVO Guru. Check out activematrix dot com.
If you want to pay a couple of bux ($25 or so) you could get EVOScan which was developed by EVO4MAD from Sweden. Its also an excellent program with alot features.

Mitsulogger & EVOScan both have sample rates well above 100/sec. I'm seeing 160 samples per second on my car.
Mitsulogger is great, but even MJ will tell you himself it is no ECU+. (He uses an ECU+)
