Looks like your engine is burning off some oil.

Do you notice any blue smoke from the exhaust whilst driving?

That's still enough to cause lower oil levels / pressure.

You may have some low compression across your cylinders, actually I'm quite sure you do.

Looks like you have some bad piston rings my friend.... A compression test + leak down test will confirm.

Do you smell any oil burning, because if you do then it might be leaking somewhere so better catch it quickly since it can catch on fire.

I read somewhere to check your sparkplugs, if they are covered in oil its bad rings or bad valve stem seals

You should always do various tests(compression test included) before buying a performance car or better yet pay the $300(heard that its around there) and take it to a reputable shop and have them check it out before making the decision to spend up to 15,000+ for an evo just my .02

do they have to take out the whole thing to do a compression test? I am thinking its the rings. the person I bought the car from says the valve seals are a year old he changed them... so he is saying those don't o bad after 4 years or less.. cause its the oem in there... but yeah how do u check if your rings are bad? let me know guys. thanks.

The person said they changed the valve sels last year.. but is it possible for it to go bad in a year? Let me.know guys. I hope its not the rings... thanks guys.. symptoms of this is that a little blue smoke coming out of my exhaust and oil is burning soo fast... no leaks though.

Can it be a head gasket problem also?

First check any exits/entrances that the oil could be leaking from, if you don't find anything then do a compression test then go from there

Did you top off the oil because it was low? Or, did you do a complete oil change including filter? I realize that you said you just topped off but, I just wanted to make sure.
