you should do a boost leak test to see if the intercooler is leaking. I know your car is showing 21 psi, but better check it out with an actual boost leak test to make sure it isn't leaking.

it all depends if your gf's mum is hot or not.if she is hot then you should be ok with your slightly damaged ic.if shes not hot then you should tell her that ic is badly damaged and you need a new one, like high end new one.just my 2cents.

Do the boost leak test as recommended and see what you got. Personally I would replace it since it has been hit, leaking or not, but that's just me. If you can live with how it looks and it isn't leaking, then roll with it.

Do a boost leak test, if its not leaking then your good. That damage looks cosmetic. Mine got bumped worse but its not leaking. You will be fine.

I would get a leak test done. Only way to tell. The tubes are smashed pretty good and made out of thin material. The bottom left looks like a hole, but it's hard to tell.

Off topic.

Has your GF got marriage potential? If not, then charge the mum. If yes, then it's out of your purse. Politics are best here.

Parts of this thread are cracking me up. Couldn't resist. Sorry!

Like Michael said, boost leak test, then go from there.

How do you do a leak test on an ic anyways? I always see crazy makeshift pvc things people use. is there an actual tester unit you can buy?
