Just got my Evo today and I was told by my friend to change the "factory synthetic engine oil" to regular "non-synthetic engine oil" ASAP. Synthetic engine oil is no good for breaking in.

Switch back to synthetic engine oil after second oil change (about 2000~3000 miles). If you do this, your 4G should roughly have about 10whp more then the others due to more complete breaking in.

Also I was told by dealership don't install turbo timer.
