I have heard some great things about the g4js coil packs out of the hyundai sonatas and kia optimas from 00 to 05. I'll try to find the link for you from club3g

They should. The poster from the link, palehorse, had them on his 2.4 with the evo head. He claims that it ran smoother with the g4js coils

UPDATE :
Bought the G4JS coils today and its fit like butter.
Haven't try it yet but just wonder what is the Amp or Voltage discharge different between Oem Evo vs G4js ignition coils?

I believe they have a smoother discharge rate from what I've read. I do like how the g4js wires are thicker than both the 4g64 and 4g63 wires also.

Hi Guys, here's my new G4JS Coils but the butt where the plug cable attach to doesnt fit in completely bcos the G4JS coils butt is bigger compare to Evo Oem coils.

How should i fix this? I measured and know the plug cable pin does not contact the inner coil

Im using NGK plug cable.

I wonder should i get the G4JS plug cables? Its a bit wasted if cant reuse the NGK cables.

if you are talking about length and the spring inside the boot, I know on the earlier cop systems the coils that were used the spring was too short so people were just grabbing the spring and stretching it a little. If that's what it is the stretch shouldn't affect the voltage to the coils as it doesn't changed the spring diameter. If that works for you keep us posted on how the coils perform, I am always up for optimizing my ignition system and would be interested to test how these perform vs a cop system if they're better than oem coils.

Hi Jason, i mean this.

If its for the Evo plug cables, the cables doesnt goes all into the G4JS coils due to its bigger dia boot.

What did you end up doing? I'm thinking of doing this method and want to price everything out and compare it to spoolin up COP setup.
