Helix exhaust vs HKS carbon Ti

I am thinking about buying the Helix exhaust since it’s much cheaper the HKS. It looks nice with minimum exhaust binds on top all that it's 3". That is going to help my new works turbo kit that i am ordering breath better??? Correct me if i am wrong. Who makes Helix? What is the WHP gain on stock car??

Thanks

Go with the Helix. Don't buy HKS unless it's really going to outperform its competitors, ie. the EVC 5. Their exhaust's look nice, but are heavy and expensive. They also taper down to meet the stock catlytic convertor.

Just like Perrin and other name brand exhaust manufacturers.

Can someone talk to how the noise difference is?
They both sound good so I wonder which one is more to the silent side... I know Helix has an option of silencer.
Anyone?

I haven't heard the helix first hand but the HKS isn't too loud at all. Good luck with the Helix man, hope it works/sounds good.

Well after i made my mind about works turbo kit I started looking for true 3" exhaust since my turbo is going to be bigger. The HKS is a great exhaust for a mid level modfied EVO not for one with a huge turbo.

i dont think the little taper is that big a deal like you guys make out, the rest of the piping will be totally straight...the taper isnt that much of one anyway..lol

I'm a big fan of the Helix system. I checked out the sound clip of the Helix Turbo-Back Exhaust w/Test Pipe and that thing sounds so mean. Very "raw" sounding with an extremely deep tone. Has a "burbly" sound to it in the lower RPM's and screams up top. I love it, although it's not for everybody considering how loud and aggressive it is. Can't beat the price either.

BTW, if anybody has a sound clip of HKS 272 cams w/Helix TB w/test pipe, I WANT!

Well I care about the taper alot!! I'm running the B&B which has no taper to the stock cat making it a true 3 inch exhaust. I wonder it there are any power loses when running a 3 DP, Exhaust, and Cat when the cat-back tapers? Also if it does taper will it fit a 3 inch cat?
