Removing Mivec cam plug

Here I am again fighting all this mivec bs on the car. I am wanting to remove the small aluminum cam plug on the mivec gear to clean it out in case of metal sahvings from spinning a bearing last year.

As of tonight, I still havnt gotten the cam plug off, its pretty much mangled to a point that I am either gonna have to buy a whole new mivec cam gear, or just get rid of all the mivec crap once and for all.

Any tricks to getting this thing off?

I had to grind down allen head for it to fit better in the plug. Put the gear in vise and remove the plug.

Well, I got the SOB. I had drilled some holes into the cap thinking I could use my hays racing timing tensioner tool. Well it broke that pretty quick. I then thought, **** it. I am taking it apart to clean it out anyways. So I took a bolt with a 14mm head on it and hammered the damn thing in the cap. Threw some vise grips on the bolt and cranked on her and it broke loose finally.

I got the mivec gear all apart, soaked it in mineral spirits and brake cleaned everything and blew it all dry with my compressor.

Now comes the part of putting it back together. When I pulled the rotor cap off, it all just kind of fell out, so I wasnt able to get the orientation of all the parts.
