2.4L cam gear and timing on EVO 9 HELP!!!

i just got my 2.4l short block. Some questions i have for the owners of 2.4l.

What water pump did u use? can i use 2003 outlander?

I was told that stock 4g63 MIVEC cam gear needs to be modify and the other cam gear you just need a adjustable... DOES ANYONE HAVE A DIY on how to modify it?

already purchased external line.

i have a Gates racing timing belt for 4g63 can i use it?

can i use oem head gasket?

Every question you mentioned has been answered.

I ended up using an English racing modified waterpump, You do not have to modify the cam gear. But you need an adjustable Exhaust cam gear.

The timing belt will work.

And you need 87mm headgasket. I went the Cosworth 87mm headgasket route.

True. They have all been answered. Just have to do some digging to find which answer is actually the correct one.

How are your cam gears timed des?

I have the 4g63 head on my 4g64 block. I used a 1994 galant gs belt and the tension is perfect. I have both my cam gears set to -4/-4 so the teeth will line up.
