Opinion needed - Clutch disc wear check (CC stg2)
Hey guys,
Pulled my Evo IX tranny back out after 6000 miles for a small issue with a recent rebuild and the tranny is back at the tranny builder.
While out, I decided to see how my CC Stage 2 sprung clutch was doing on wear.
I do love the way it drives, though it "seems" a bit soft, so I want to make sure this think is going to last for awhile.
Pictures below from an evo ix with an FP green with ~400whp/370wtq used as a daily driver. Please keep in mind these are 6000 mostly babied miles with only two launches on the clutch just to see how it handles it. The car is driven very conservatively most of the time.
Notice the "friction pads" of the disc are only .035" on each side.
Do we think this will last 30-40k of just normal driving?
