Wastegate question/fitment

Ok so I have a compressor housing p/n 16g6c-10.5t. It has been machined and paired with an hta71 billet wheel. So I assembled it with a 10.5cm turbine housing. Now I have two wastegate acuators. 1 p/n fp91290 which is a 25psi actuator. The other is one that was given to me when i bought a spare truck locally. Was told it was an older fp 18psi actuator. Still uncomfirmed. So i tried to fit the 25psi one to my assembled turbo and it doesn't line up.The other lines up perfectly. Both next to each other. If my compressor housing is the 16g6c why doesn't the 25 psi one line up?

No you wont, there is a reason it is thread. So you can adjust it.

I can rotate the turnbuckle any way I want but doesn't even get close. In order for it to fit I'd have to force the entire rod to the side.

Not sure if this helps but...
I thought I had a similar problem on my 8
With a turbosmart IWG
Turns out I was shipped a 9 wg with an 8 mount

Have you verified everything

It will fit. Just use a bigger hammer.

Try switching mounts

Looks like the new one is a 9 mount due to extra bend
The old is an 8 mount straight and flat

With part number fp91290 should be a 25 psi for a evo 9 turbo. What baffles me is that the compressor indeed is a 16g6c which is an evo 9 housing I have two but this one is machined for the wheel. And the straight wastegate looks like the one installed on my 05 turbo at the moment. . There's also a stock 9wga in the classifieds but it looks identical to my fp high psi that won't fit.

This is unusual..... I did notice the 9 pn and thought the new one should fit
based on the look of the new fp unit but next to each other the old one looks really similar to an 8. If not an 8 then at least a flatter design than your mount everything on that mount is directing the armature away from the flapper. The bends on the mount and wg itself on The other unit all coincide with directing towards the flapper.

Haha! I can get it to fit. Just pumped a little bit of air in it and force the rod to the side. But then at the base of the acuator its all angled and ****-eyed.

You have 2 WGA's, the 18#, that actually fits and the 25# that does not fit. To me it is a no-brainer....you must run the 18# actuator. The 25-pounder is not an option since as a practical matter it does not fit.

Almost 0 preload3 full rotations But its angled. And only opens flapper very little under just load from the air compressor.
