intercooler piping size

intercooler piping size
what pipe size should I use for my intercooler....
it's the big ARC intercooler.

Some people are telling me 2.5 inches and some are saying 3.
what's the best choice for performance?

On my GSX I am now making 558 whp with 2.5" intercooler piping. I even have a 45degree bend that is 2.25" in the upper pipe. the 2.5" is working just fine.

it has to be 2.5in, otherwise it wont connect to the throttle body (unless you upgrade it)

good....was goin with the 2.5 but then a guy said to run 3 inch.
but i will stick to the 2.5in..

have not gone back to the track in the GSX yet, No cage! It did do a run @22 psi and it ran 11.80 @120 blown head gasket and 100mph in the 1/8th.
