Exclamation Evo 9 Front End Clicking Noise

Hi all, my evo 9 recently developed a clicking noise from the front passenger side wheel. I've done a couple searches and they all seem to come up dead. I figured I would start a thread and update it until I've figured out the issue so whomever searches for it next will have an easier time.

Recent changes to the car:
Exedy twin disk install with ACT monoloc collar
PowerSlot Slotted Rotors
Stoptech Street pads

Issue noticed at all speeds, frequency increases with increased speed.
Seems to not occur during hard turns, I will double check this today.

Things it could be:
Rock/nail/etc in tire - checked last night on the ground but I will double check it today
Front Axle - I looked at the CV boot while laying on the ground yesterday and it appeared to be ok with no grease anywhere. I will try and get it on a lift to really examine it.
Drive shaft - another member traced his clicking noise to the drive shaft, I have not checked this yet

I'll be posting in this thread until I figure out the problem.
Any input is appreciated!

not sure if this is enough info to guess. usually a rock will make a scraping sound or a nasty noise while braking. pull the wheel and check it and the rotor. it sounds like something sticking out and tapping on something? is it a "light" metal noise? "heavy" metal noise?
make sure the axle nut is tight.
double check the lug nuts.
it could really be a lot of things, just using the info given.

good luck!

Probably the cv joint in the axle. Boots could be fine, but the clicking comes from inside the boot. Joint is wore out.

In my experience this is usually the issue. The actual outboard joint goes bad.
Normally clicks with turning.

Totally forgot about this issue, I suppose I better come back and update.

So the clicking was occurring on my summer tire set-up:
Enkei RPF1s 18x9.5 after I got new brake pads/rotors installed on my old suspension set-up (stock shocks w/ tein coils).

I then changed to my winter set-up:
Stock Evo 9 Enkei's with Blizzaks on old suspension set-up and the clicking went away.

Then I got a new suspension set-up: D2 Street Coilovers because the old set-up was shot to hell. Also got it aligned of course.
Still no clicking.

Just recently swapped to my summer set-up again with the new suspension and NO CLICKING PRESENT! Hooray!

I don't really have a clue what was causing it, maybe something to do with the worn out old suspension on a tighter fitting wheel.

New set-up:
