Don't know what it is but I WANT ONE!

Okay guys I took out a modded STi tonight and i could care less about the 300hp, yada yada other bull****.. i just want to know what a certain part is and can where i can find it and can it be adjusted to go on our Evo? the guy called it a rev limiter? he set it on the dash tach so that he sets at what rpm he wants to get a warning light with a quick BEEP telling him to shift... I WANT ONE!!! any info would be greatly appreciated! i want the same set up basically on the dash tach so i don't have to get another tach again thank in advance for any info!

a G-Tech does the same thing. you can mount it on your dash and all you have to do is plug it into your cigarette lighter.

the thing you are talking about is built in to the STI dash and it is like that from the factory. there is no way you can make it fit on the EVO. However, look in google for shift light and you should be able to find a shift light that is very small and looks pretty much the same. now all you have to do is mount it on your dash and you are good to go....

yeah, they make very small shift lights that you can mount to the top of the steering column. just put that in and you can program it to whatever rpm you want it to illuminate at.

side note: a rev limiter is what you hit when you go a little too far past the redline and hear the engine crank itself back down.

Check those out. They can also work for a stealth install.

Here's another option. It's called the Rev-Lite.
