Precision 6870 now in T3, opinions?
I just saw at SEMA that they're making this with a 1.05 open t3 in/ 4 bolt 3" out housing starting 2016. How laggy is that 1.05 housing going to be?
I'm now running a 6466 on 43-47psi t3 .82 and have a good amount of backpressure. on this t3 setup I trapped 178MPH in the 1/2. Looking to make some more power and break into the 190s this year with a bigger turbo.
Thoughts on this turbo?

Apples to Oranges, You run a fwd drag Honda and like most probably aren't that worried about lag. This guys first question was about how laggy it would be. If this guy didn't care about lag, I'm sure this and many other options would work just fine for him too
You must have been answering the last portion of his post? (thoughts on turbo?)
I'd guess it would spool 800rpms later than a 6466 gen2 t3 .82
He wants to run a bigger turbo and pick up 12mph in the 1/2 also said he has a fair amount of back pressure already so by going to the 1.05 with a larger wheel will reduce that.
Yes and your response is an open T3 he will regret?

Id rather not have to change up my whole setup as I have a custom downpipe, licp, oil lines etc all made for this setup now. Would i like a t-4 setup? of course. Would I like to stay t-3 and meet my goals? Of course. I'm trying to see if I can drive this on the street and enjoy it while still hitting my goal is what I'm after. 9.50's in the 1/4 and 195MPH in the 1/2 is my ultimate goal with reduced backpressure for a happier engine.

I wouldnt run it in single scroll because of response between shifts. The one car I saw with a single T4 was horrible, the 1.05 T3 will be better but not by much I dont think. Twin scroll for both response and ultimately less backpressure.
Not sure this info will help at all but I ran a 6466 T4 1.15 housing and swapped to a 6870 T4 1.32 housing. On paper it is 400rpm more lag. On the street I honestly can't even tell. The car also made ALOT more power with less boost. I'm out of injector and am having a 8 injector Mani setup built so I can really push this setup further. Go twin scroll if you can.
