TRE1235 vs ETS 3.5

Besides the significant price over the Treadstone, is there any benefit going to the ETS over the Treadstone in regards to quality/cooling?

I don't know the specifics and how exactly the Treadstone performs, but bear in mind that even though you are comparing two air to air intercoolers, you are still comparing apples to oranges. The ETS unit will bolt right to the car, and is designed specifically for the Evo, whereas the Treastone is going to be a universal type deal, unless they started making one specific for our cars. I would say for something like that, it's worth it to spend the extra money for a quality part that is designed for your car, bolts up to it nicely, and performs well.

Ours will bolt right onto the car. The TR1235 is a universal intercooler. The core design makes a pretty significant difference as well. We use a one off core designed by us in house through years of development and revisions. There is a price difference but I think the looks of the folded end tanks, ease of install and increase in efficiency from the core more than make up for that.
