Torque Solutions shifter cable bushings 5sp wrong size for Evo VII

Hi,

I got a Torque Solutions 5 speed shifter cables bushings for my Evo VII and to my surprise one of the TS bushings is much bigger than the OEM.

The gear selector bushing was ok. Got it installed no problems. But the gate selector bushing on the kit is much bigger so I had to leave the OEM one on place.

I know the 6 speed kit has two small bushings.

Does anyone know weather the VII uses the same bushings from the IX MR or not?

In the US the IX MR is spec'd with a 6-speed. So you probably have 6-speed bushings rather than 5-speed bushings - one of the is a different size between 5 and 6-speed. Don't remember which one right now.

Yea mine was different too, I know I specifically chose the 5 speed, but still got sent a 6 speed as indicated on the package. One bushing is mos def bigger than the other. So I just used two 608zz bearings and they fit perfectly

I sent an e-mail to Torque Solutions.

Being my car JDM they told me to use the Eclipse 1G bushings:
