Anyone know if a "quiet" exhaust system exist that is not discontinued that has a decent performance gain?

 

RRE Stealth, I have it on my evo with S2 cams and it pretty mellow. No droning while cruising. There's old posts on socal Evo that showed great gains. It has 2 resonators. Only negatives are it's heavy and sipping is expensive. I previously had the Fujitsu which was even more quiet, but discontinued.

 

x2 on the RRE Stealth cb exhaust. As already mentioned, the only thing I don't like is the added weight, but it sounds great and you can weld the stock tip on, so it looks... stock.

What does one of these rre exhaust run for. I wanted to try and get my hands on the fujitsubo exhaust but they are no where to be found since its discontinued

If I Would have to do it again I'd leave stock exhaust and put aftermarket downpipe and boost activated cut out.

I run a hks sport exhaust. Pretty quiet while cruising. But test pipe open up, and it's a whole new beast.

Would have went the stock route setup had I been able to find one in my area before my tune was to take place.

 

I believe the RRE cb exhaust goes for $450 brand new, you just have to call them and they'll make it.

When I had my Tanabe Medallion cb exhaust it was quiet, but it necked down to 2.5" by the cat. Other exhausts neck down inside the muffler and some do both, so be careful, looks aren't everything.

 

Yeah mine necks down bit I'm still at 400whp, so I don't care. Lol.

 

Apexi WS. Had it before my Buschur. Super quiet.

 

I got a megan turbo back with vibrant muffler and resonator. got pulled over twice for tinted windows. Not a word was said bout the exhaust haha.
