Searched through, seen one old related post with no replies. Has anyone ran a fan controller of another car, i.e. lancer, galant, outlander? Trying to follow the part number trail but maybe someone has some experience or a parts guy knows?

1355A126 comes up as evo 8 controller.
Part number supersedes to 1355A408 which fits 02-07 lancers and 03-06 outlanders, info via mitsubishiparts.net.

1355A052 comes up as the current part number for an evo controller.

New controller is only like $90 now. Not a huge deal, but this is my second one thats burnt up in like 60k miles. I have quite a few lancers and such in the local junk yards that I could grab a couple controller from if they"ll work.

Pretty sure the one from a Mazda MPV 02-06 model van works. Bec/Arnley 2030270. I have one in my car when my OEM crapped out. Only difference is it has spots for both plugs, since the condenser fan would be next to the cooling fan on that model. But it works the same. I capped off the other plug. Only other difference is I think above 130mph the fan is disabled. Hope that helps
