Po401???

PO401 Exhaust gas recirculation insuffiencent flow detected?

wtf does that mean, and why am i getting it?

Check your EGR solenoid Valve under the Intake manifold, Its kinda down there but make sure the nipples ar4e not broken off i had that problem a few months ago.

which side specifically...i checked the hoses around there but didn't see anything maybe i need to inspect more

passenger side of car. I think i found it when i had the passenger wheel off and looked up from underneath and saw but if you go from the top take a mirror and flashlight and start hunting

My car threw this code recently too! Thanks to this thread it was a quick and easy fix! For those who still need some help, I took a couple pics:


See the green disconnected hose?

this is the same place, zoomed out a bit so you can see where in the engine bay this is:


If you need these pics, and they don't show up, it means I moved them off my host. Just PM me and I'll get 'em to ya!

I just wanted to say thank you for your great pictures and your help ful hints on fixing the problem. My car looked just like your picture and I was able to put it back on. Thanks again!
