Hi folks
Short intro
My name is and Andrew and I own a Evo 7 GSR JDM
Always worked on cars and now wanting to learn as much as I can about Evos
My question is about AYC ACD
I have a ACD fault 3 lights start the car and have one light to start then once driving 3 come on code tells me pump fault
I have run the pump via the relay plug and it does not build pressure
What I want to know is why the pump doesn't attempt to run at start up even when I try the trick of pressing the accelerator pedal and turning the key on
Is it because the fault is stored and has stopped the system from operating
Going to buy a replacement the pump tommrow just wondering if there may be anything else I should check first
