The early ATP stock frame turbos did not get the best reviews, and I do not think may have tried them since they revised them.

Since you are across the pond, I would suggest contacting http://www.owendevelopments.co.uk/ and tell them your power goals/intended use and go with what they recommend.

How so? I would think shipping would be much less from the UK to you. Also if you need any support for it in the future closer is usually better.

Maybe order through http://www.brr.at/cms/brr_rally_parts_en.html They are great and ship worldwide.

because i fly to us once per month at least and can buy turbo and put it into luggage

we aren't in eu (at least yet) so shipping and customs from uk is going to cost at least $500

ATP sucks tbh. Just grab a Garrett or a Comp and youll be happy. ATP has terrible customer service, while Comp rates highest in customer service. I had one of their turbos have an issue with a seal after 1k miles, and they sent me a new turbo that lasted for years of abuse.

^^ Comp turbos haven't produced the results, or records that have made the Evo famous, so in the Evo community its the opposite actually. Garrett based turbos perform so well, the only other turbos with large amounts of info about them are: Mitsubishi (of course), FP, Precision, and EFR turbos. With that being said, a Garrett based turbo like the GTX3576 would be a great investment and seems to flow and respond better than the GTX3076 from what I've read in the past.

If I remember right, the ATP hotside did not flow particularly well so the GT/GTX stock frames did not spool that well or have the top end you would expect.

I would go with a Blouch 2.0XTR instead http://www.bptstore.com/Evolution-IX...XTR_p_148.html

The 1.0XTR should be able to get low 400+whp (its basically the same turbo as the CBRD BBK if you want to search dyno charts). The 2.0XTR is basically a BBK-B and spools a bit slower but has more up top. Just depends on how much boost you want to run to hit your goal really.

FP Green, or HTA 71, may be good options as well in that case.

I have first hand experience on my gf Evo 8. I had installed the GTX 3076 stock frame unit and the results were very disappointing. The lag was as if the car was on a standard 35r unit and at a normal boost pressure of 21-23psi the unit nearly brakes 400 on a DJ. The back housing doesn't work well to allow adequate efficiency for what this unit is really capable of, furthermore it sounds just like a stock unit. Those that have gone T3 or T4 can attest that the exhaust tone alone makes it well worth the change from any stock framed unit. Turbo was also paired with Kelford 272 and full bolt ons respectfully. At the moment I'm removing my 2.3L motor and T3 turbo Full Race hot parts of my Evo since I'm going to use her stock block to build a light weight 2.3L. I ordered a T3 .63 back housing to convert it to a housing that is more in its nature. This should yield a significant change in response and efficiency with the added displacement and less restrictive back housing. My advice don't waste your money unless your planning to run 30psi or 2 bar or greater. For reference my old set up I'm donating to my GF car made 510/432 on pump gas on a HTA 3582 and the bolt on GTX3076 on her car made 396/330 on a stock motor with horrible response we might as well dropped a 6766 on it. Also as mentioned above the GTX3576 is a better option for better peak power.

im currently in the same boat, I got an atp3076r from a buddy for a couple hundred bucks and I hate it. Did the T3 turbine housing help out your car?
