Huge problem please help

Huge problem please help

So I have a 05 evo 8 mods are
Boost controller, in jen pipes and evo 9 turbo
Everything else is stock.

Here is my problem, I raced another car (Mustang and won) but on deceleration from 4th car started bogging hard and engine would shake. Upon further investigation I had really low oil and now lifter tick.
If I were to bleed my lifters would that fix it but I am still getting boost but it is extremely sluggish

You need to see if the oil that is left in the pan is contaminated with metal. Drain the oil, maybe open up the filter. If the lifters started ticking out of nowhere, maybe take a look under the valve cover and look for damage.
How low were you on oil?

Doesn't matter if you won or not.....Was this at a track or the street? I've seen enough close calls and people have died on street races.

You might have ran it dry and spun a bearing. Are you sure the lifter tick isn't rod knock? Good luck.

you might want to pull the timing belt cover and make sure your timing marks line up, you could have jumped a tooth.
