Whoa! I'm getting ready to get back into the Evo game but I've never had a chance to do it with a large sum of money all at once. I'll be selling off my house soon and the wife cleared and ok'd a 30k budget for a build. Unfortunately that includes the price of the car. I'm obviously going to build the car and don't want to buy some 800whp Evo.

The problem?? Oh I can't decide if I want to do a bunch or small **** all at once and have some fun for a little while or if I should build the block, head, transmission and fuel system first. I know above about 500/400 I will need to build but I could have a hell of a lot of fun up to that point. So what should I do?


Build the bare bones first

or

Have some fun until I "need" to build
