Need check valves for twin 450 pump setup?

I have seen some modded oem hangers holding twin 450 pumps and was wondering if anyone is putting check valves in them. I have a check valve in mine and I believe it is causing a flow restriction.

Curious to how cars are running without a check valve installed. Do these pumps with check valves from the manufacturer? I run them staged and the second one is triggered off a hobbs switch.

I maxed my 2150's out (100% IDC)on e81 at 830hp. With twin 450's, -8 feed, -6 return, and a fuellab regulator, this is definitely on the low side.
