hi guys im from London, finally got my self an evo 8 fq 300 but with a few problems i intend to fix mainly one being a nasty misfire.
I have a history of Nissan Silvia (180sx,ps13,s14/a,s15), skyline, Toyota chaser and audi rs4 ownership and have to say im extremely impressed with the evo.

My misfire use to happen at 3-4k and stutter like mad, so i gaped the plugs to 0.020 and done a coil on plug conversion using yaris denso coilpacks, now my misfire happens randomly depending how i hit boost. If i gradually build the revs up and go WOT i can sometimes flow through the rev range with no problem till i shift and the misfire will kick in, any ideas?

Welcome aboard Glad to have an experienced car guy on our forum. Regarding your misfire, you should consider posting a new thread here for the best advice

Cheers, Joe

Hi and welcome!

Great to have you in the community, I'm moving you post to the Evo 9 tech forum, as suggested by MinusPrevious. Good luck!
