Exclamation greddy type R ?

does anyone have a greddy type r on their evo. What does it sound like, does it sound like the type s. I heard that you shouldn't get the type r if your not running high boost on the car. So is it a good idea to get the type r in the car has only a few mods and not a upgraded turbo or rnything like that?

you're probably gonna have hell of a time trying to keep the engine from stalling.

Go for the type S!!!! Why in the world would you need a type R. I would rather go for twin type s than one type R. Or twin hks similar to the supra setup. But you are wasting money and time going for a type R or twin setup on stock turbo or stock setup. Even with a type S, you'll stall sometimes, unless you remove the smaller spring. For the sound, it sounds cool, but not too loud.

Type R is overkill for the Evo. Most people run it VTA due to the massive outlet on it. You're better off getting the GReddy Type S.

Yeah, the Type R is overkill, not really necessary unless you plan on running high boost, 25+psi, the Type S will get the job done, and at a cheaper price.
