Gurus would like to ask, is the evo 7 GTA oem injectors just the same with evo 5 oem fuel injectors? Are they both 560cc? Please educate me. Thanks much.

 

this mostly a USa forum. so its a bit difficult to answer.
I know for 4g63 turbo. inj size 5spd and auto
89-94 usa 450cc and 390cc
95-99 usa 450cc both
JDM data from buying imported engines.
evo 1-4 510cc and 4g63 autos 450cc. through year 2000

I basically dont know what year the evo started getting 560cc. or do I know what happen to auto cars after 2000

 

210cc= Stock NA cars (MDH210)
360cc= Stock TT cars dual outlet (MDL360)
390cc= Early 1G DSM Auto injectors single outlet
450cc= 1G DSM Blue tops single outlet
450cc= 2G DSM Black tops dual outlet (MDL450)
510cc= EVO1 Yellow Top with black bottom single outlet
510cc= EVO2-4 Yellow Top with green bottom dual outlet (MDL510)
560cc= EVO5-7 Maroon top with green bottom dual outlet (MDL560)
560cc= EVO7-9 Orange top with green bottom dual outlet (MDL560)

There are 2 different types of the 560s are used:

EDM and JDM Evo 7 Used the Orange top with green bottom dual outlet (2 jets directed to the Valves )
These were also used on some RS and MR Models for the JDM and UK Market up to the Evo 8.

Starting with the Evo8s they were swapped to Orange / slightly Pink ones with the clear tip, ball and disc style with 4 holes for the EDM , USDM and UK Markets.
These were used mostly in all Evo8 and 9 Models except the mentioed above which were mostly used for Motorsports...

There is no difference in Latency or full flow. Mitsubishi changed the scalings due to the different spray pattern, but that is mostly related to changes in the Emmisions routines of the newer 8 and 9 roms.

The GTA ones are the Evo 7 ones, so the 560 green tip....
