Interesting BOV issue

This is hard to explain so bare with me.

The other day I was on the highway and got on pretty hard. I noticed my boost level was right around 22. I shifted to 4th, coming from the on ramp, and my boost went to 26 and I hit fuel cut. I turned the boost down on my Profec B. It's now sitting at a quarter turn on the dial. I pulled over and checked things out. I have the HKS BOV recirc. and noticed the hose from the BOV that conncects to the little filter came off. I have this "T"d into the hose that comes from my boost controller box under the hood and then to the hose that comes from the car. I experienced quicker spool up and didn't have to have my boost turned up as high. Anyone experience this? It's pretty weird but damn does it make a difference.

maybe that is your Profec's boost sensor. If disconnected, your Profec will always see 0psi even when you are already boosting 22psi. The waste gate will be complete closed forever, therefore the fast spool response.
