I know the Evo 7 GTA uses a 9cm turbine housing. Can the same housing be utilized on a turbo from an Evo 8 or Evo 9? If so, does anyone know where I could find a clean example for purchase? Thanks!

 

As far as i know 9cm housing comes on evo 8 GSR models 8MR and 9 has 10cm housing.

 

It also came equipped on the Evo 4. It seems like it should fit just fine but finding one, let alone in good condition, might be a serious challenge.

 

I've got a GTA turbo in the shed, it looks almost exactly the same as the evo 6 turbo next to it, just 15g 9.0T vs 16g 10.5T. You can buy them on Ebay here in Aus but I imagine the shipping would be huge. I can take closer pictures of them if you need?

 

Does that mean a 9cm housing won't fit over the Evo 8 turbine? If I remember correctly everything else about the GTA turbo is identical to the Evo 8 but maybe I'm wrong.

How difficult do you think it would be to source one of these housings from Australia in pristine condition? Shipping costs aside. Thank you for the help
