Headgasket going?

curious what your guys’ initial thoughts would be in my scenario. I just changed my oil about 4 days ago with Valvoline vr1 synthetic 10w30. Running fine. I checked my oil today and noticed a greenish hue on the dipstick. So I drain the pan and it’s brown but there’s definitely a greenish hue to it.

Took a a couple videos too.. the smoke video, I can’t tell if that’s just typical cold weather smoke or if it’s blown headgasket smoke.

My tuner thinks I’m being paranoid but idk why my oil would have what looks to be coolant in it

the smoke would smell kind of sweat, does your coolant resovoir look a little lower at all . Maybe you are just paranoid, but I would be the same way, I was going to ask you if you run Brad Penn which is kind of green in color but your not. At this point nothing you can do but keep an eye on it, maybe it’s nothing. Good luck

Actually looking at the oil I do see what your talking about but it looks like almost like light reflecting off it , bring it outside and get a look at it ,besides when coolant mixes with oil it looks milky yours looks like nice clean oil.

You're paranoid.

Oil and water don't mix.
If the headgasket is "going" then the cooling system will get over pressurised.
You don't get coolant in the oil and you don't get oil in the coolant, not with a 4G. Maybe if the head has cracked.
If and when you do end up with water in the oil you see it as a mayonnaise on the dipstick which is an emulsion of oil and water due to the detergent that's part of the engine oil.

With a cold engine, fill the reservoir to exactly the full mark and keep checking the level when the engine is cold. If the coolant is going into the oil it won't stay full.

Use a paper towel and soak some up and look at it outside of the engine. Is it still green? Does it smell like coolant? I can't think of how coolant can get up there.

Appreciate you guys. I’m going to assume I’m just paranoid.

Heres a pic of the oil after letting it settle today. I suppose it’s fine

Pour that into another container. Check at bottom if there are any coolant. Oil will float on coolant so if you have any in there, you'll find it at the bottom.

No you won't
It doesn't work like that.

Engine oil has detergent in it.

Oil, water and detergent all mix to form an emulsion.

Like most said, if your HG was on its way out, you would notice your overflow tank filling/emptying.
I was pushing coolant to my overflow and I picked up on it quick enough, only had to replace the HG.. So check yours and make sure it says in check.

you're right, coolant leaking into oil forms a milkshake color mix while oil leaking into coolant will float (probably not enough oil to form the milkshake mixture).
That oil in pan looks normal to me.

If it's VR-1 synthetic, the oil itself is blue. I always joke that it's made from Smurfs LOL
