350whp EVO VII

Hey guys I bought an Evo VII last year and been running 255 walbro fuel pump, 3" exhuast, o2 dump w/ tune 94 oct. I currently have 120k km and the compression is 171,173,175,172.

I heard mixed opinions on the Evo VII, that the rods are weak and should not pass 300whp and other people are fine over 350whp.
Whats your guys experience with the rods in the evo VII?

Thanks

Those are strong compression no.s (sure those no.s are right. Way too high, I think

Not familiar w/the EvO7, but I would think the rods are the same as an EvO 8 or 9. Most of us are fully tuned & many w/the stock block. Many of us are in the solid 400+ WHP (Dyno Jet) range & have no issues

Lets see a pic of this 7

Ive read on the forums about the 7s rods being weaker, more of a rumor it sounds like.

Here is some pics!

As my tuner keep saying to me....torque breaks rods, so keep that down for longer rod life

This is mainly a US based forum so not as many VII owners here. May need to check the UK forums.
