So I had a buddy of mine make an up pipe out of the hood vent and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or something that has already been done to plug it while im away from the car or if theirs an rain shower. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

I put a soup can over mine, lol.

It really not a big deal for my stock turbo IMO. I've driven in the rain. Once i hit boost, it shoots out all the water, and the wastegate flapper prevents water from actually entering the turbo when not under boost.

You could also buy a rubber stopper.
