Need a new exhaust....

So, I'm in the market for a new exhaust. I've currently got the Buschur Bullet, which I love, but I'm selling it to my friend to help him out. I have been looking at the Tomei Expreme, but holy cash that costs a pretty penny. I don't *really* want to spend that much, so if I can find something similar I will.
What are the good sounding exhausts that you can STILL purchase for an EVO IX with a JDM bumper, with no modifications/cutting needed?
Searched some old threads but a lot of the exhausts are outdated, discontinued, or have since changed over the years.
Thanks for any input!

Been running the Invidia N1. Great stainless system w/casted flanges.

The weld quality is very impressive & the casted flanges.

It sports a mid resonator so its not obnoxious

Do you happen to have any sound clips? I could only find a few potato camera clips

I run the Tomei Expreme o2 housing / downpipe combo, mated to an STM stainless resonated test pipe and cat-back.

Sounds like
.

LINK with price, pictures, and an additional sound clip.

Just bought Tomei Expreme Ti Cat-Back Exhaust. And a bunch of other goodies. Until I am able to get in for tuning, I'm going to install the cat back and see how it sounds. will upload when done later this week if that helps?

Lots of good choices out there but I'm happy with my Tomei system. Picked up 50whp on the stock tune and lost almost 50lbs of weight. Its not that loud on a stock cam/turbo car but gets there once you are moving some air.

I'm stock turbo, but have Tomei 270 Cams, a nice big 3.5" SD intake, injectors, etc. I was thinking of picking up the whole system; the downpipe comes with the O2 housing which is cool. The only thing stopping me is I have the stock o2 housing, I would assume replacing that with the Tomei o2 would require some changes to my current tune, and I don't feel like shelling out more money for that until I put some more parts on lol. But damn 50 lbs is crazy.
Are you running the Tomei test pipe as well?

Oh crap I just realized YOU are the owner of the car in Jay's video with the Tomei system! Your video is the one that made me fall in love with the exhaust haha

recently installed GSC S2s along with tomei catback, downpipe/test pipe.. Got my first noise complaint the next day and now im forced to have to my silencer on whenever i leave or before i get back around the neighborhood.. i wish i could go back to my first option which was the Megan Racing Exhaust, probably would've been less obnoxious haha. Not gonna lie doh.. silencer comes off during cruise nights

HKS is another option that sounds good and isn't too expensive. If they don't offer it for the JDM then I'm sure your local exhaust shop could modify it to fit - https://www.hks-power.co.jp/en/produ...uct/1/maker/5/

I originally had the Tomei on my car and loved it. After putting on an aftermarket DP and HFC, it was loud. It sounded awesome, probably one of the best sounding exhaust out there but it was too loud for me. Switched over to the HKS and its still loud but a lot better. Its really loud once you get into boost. It fits ok with the JDM bumper too. Just need to do some minor trimming on the bumper itself.
