EVO 8 oil traveling question

Heya!

I had a spun bearing and got my engine renovated.
So I’ve mounted a aftermarket oil cooler with AN fittings and such, my question is the following:
The original oil cooler lines fills the cooler from the top, and return at the bottom. Does it matter if I choose to fill the cooler from the bottom and the return hose to the filter housing at the top? I’ve read that people done it on several cars, but haven’t seen anyone done it to and evo, so I’m little nervous

Kind regards, Brio

The proper way to do it is flow comes in on the bottom and out the top. I honestly can't remember the stock cooler direction of flow but if you can go in on bottom and out the top that is the ideal scenario.

Flow direction won't make or break a car. You're not going to damage anything plumbing it one way vs the other.
