Compression/Leakdown Numbers Boost leak
I bought a fitronic kit/Tune/Fic 2150 from Tom(tscomp) and he cant get the afr at idle right. Either its way to rich or way to lean. Car is a 9 with completely stock internals 70k miles. It was previously on one of his tunes but with fic 1100 (E85 515HP)and running fine. I put a Map 02 dump and the car started going leaner, that's why I decided on the fitronic and new tune.
I ran a compression/leakdown/boost leak test and these are the results. Motor was at operating temp and all spark plugs removed.
Compression 145 145 130 145
Leakdown 1% 1% 13% 1%
On cylinder 3 the air I'm loosing is coming out of the oil filler cap. Sounds like ring or cylinder wall issue?
On the boost leak test I cant get it above 10psi with out it blowing out of the oil filler cap. Testing from turbo compressor inlet with boost controller disconnected and hose on right side of valve cover plugged. Is this due to the leakdown test showing air getting passed the rings?
