I need help trying to find the gasket for the Evo Mivec cam gear..
Tried to go to Mitsu spare parts and they looked at me funny... Surely I can't be the only person to ever have a leaking mivec cam gear.
I can't imagine having to replace a cam gear just because of a small gasket.

Never seen these seals for sale - new gear is required if they are fubared!

I have a cam gear that doesnt leak. Problem is that the gear is broken since I dropped it. Not sure if you would want to swap parts from yours to mine but if you are interested, let me know. Gear has less than 70k miles on it. Shipping it out your way is no issue.

 

I definitely would not mind to swap parts over and get it working.. Sucks to have the evo down because of a seal !!! PM sent !!!

 

I have tried to contact Mitsu spare parts and they told me the same thing.
Seems really silly to replace an entire gear because of a gasket. Unfortunately, it was so dried up.. Which is expected after 14 years.
