I’m in the process of replacing my oem head bolts on my evo 9 with a fresh set of ARP head studs. When I got to remove the oem bolt it doesn’t want to come out. Is there a trick to removing the oem bolt.

 

Patience is key, some of them blocked by the retainer need THEEE literal perfect angle to be removed but it is possible & can be done without the use of force.. Just take your time, walk away for a couple mins if you have too & try again. Patience & the perfect angle is the trick.
