boost controler

Hey guy's I just bought a boost contorler and I was wondering if any one now's how much boost is to much. I'm thinking of running at 21 psi for my high setting. Don't want to kill the engine or the turbo.

A few are pushing it to 22-23 PSI. If you're not detonating, I don't think it's too much for the motor.

i agree with prowler with 20-21 as the max since running it any higher w/o supporting mods will just cause you a headache if something brakes.do you have any fuel control or anything installed on your evo?for now my ebc is set to 20 but i set it lower on daily driving just to save up gas and no use boosting high for me since we only get 91 pissgas here in california.

no other mods to support the boost controler. I only have an AEM short ram intake. That's the only performance mod I have the other things I have are gages, boost controller (now installed) and a turbo timmer.
