Hey guys. So got some crappy news about my head so needing a new one. My question is is there a significant defense in doing a bowl bend/pocket port over a race port?

Just go to a cnc port and call it a day

 

Years ago when I was looking into this I spoke to Dave at Headgames. He basically said if its a 800hp or less evo that a street port is recommended . The velocity of air changes with port size and type of porting. This may have an effect on how well or poorly the engine operates at different rpm's.

 

Well let's say it was closer to 1000whp?
whats recommeneded?

Ive read that race port head is **** to cracks and holes

 

Race port. I'd suggest finding someone with a good track record.
