Ok, went to the track the other weekend, and was reviewing some in car from a buddy, and I noticed something, MY CAR WAS THROWING FLAMES out the back pipe. Granted, I have a test-pipe for track days, but should the car be throwing a 3-4 foot flame? This was even with it leaned out to 11.5:1.

Others with test-pipes, do you notice this? Also, are there folks who have the SAFC2 installed which never receive a knock? I have yet to get knock, and I have verified the connections twice, so I know they are right. Ideas?

 

I've seen ohter evo's with test pipe throw flames. But I am curious about the zero knock? I have never gotten one with the SAFCII.

Yeah, that is why I broke all the records for that track by 2 seconds.....Imagine if I had some NAWWWWSSSS.

 

I throw them as well. BIG ones occaisonally. Sometimes they separate into little individual bursts making the overall flame last long enough to say "1-one-thousand-1". Or atleast this is how people driving behind me have described it.

 

I have a test pipe, with HKS exhoust, I have been dying to get a flame ? could you tell when driving or some behind you has to see it ? Also did you turn up the boost or have an after market BOV !
