Opinions on what to get

I have a 2006 evo 9 se (5 speed)
making 450-500 Im taking the transmission out
any suggestions on what brand clutch I should get (act, exedy….)
should I get any other parts while it’s already out ex. Rear main seal, front axle seals, throw out bearing and furthermore
thank you for your help and ideas

I like ACT twin disk. But there are so many options - all depends on what you need from your car and how you drive it.
I would replace all accessible seals if high mileage on a vehicle, and definitely throw out bearing. Maybe check motor/trans mounts for cracks as well

Twin is so much better. Much smoother engagement and they can handle twice as much torque with equal pedal force. Non racing act twins are very light and smooth. But keep in mind - more disks = more money

If you are stock block (limited to 400lb ft) I would run a full face ACT with a monoloc for street stuff. If you are going to run the car at the strip or road course alot then the proven Exedy twin will deal with the heat better.

You may want to consider going to Evo 8 gearing or even a 4.31 final drive if you are going to make more then 500+ down the road.
