Hey guys! My 2003 evo 8 dies when I am coming to a stop. I can’t figure it out. I put a new IAC sensor and nothing changed. When I push the clutch in it makes a ticking noise, at first I thought it was TOB but it’s coming from the crank wheel. Could this be crankwalk?? I do not know what kind of mods or what tune it has due to me just buying the car. Some help from you guys would really be appreciated! ( I will try to upload a video of the ticking noise. It happens when ever the clutch is pushed in)

I had a friend who had similar sound/ issue. It ended up being two of the bolts on the back side of the flywheel, that hold the flywheel ring on. We had originally thought it was a TOB but the car had just been put back together with new everything 500 miles before.

Take off the fly wheel inspection cover and have a look to see if those bolts vibrated loose.

 

i'm wondering why there are holes in your front cover.
the video does show some crank walk. maybe try adding a super thin washer under your crank sensor
