My Christmas present to myself

Well it is a little late arriving to my house by Christmas. But my present just showed up today. Check it out.

Brand new HTP 6466 with a 1.0 a/r in divided t4. This thing looks so small when I put it up to my s372 lol. I am taking the hotside to be coated on Monday. I can't wait to get it on the car and make 400 less whp lol. But with that said the car will have a much more useable powerband and be a hell of a lot of fun on the street. No more 12 lbs of boost by 6500 rpms, and no 3 seconds between shifts to build spool.

Yes. Smart decision. More power does not equal more fun. Sometimes doesn't even equal faster.

Very true, very true but it was basically a free turbo so I ended up using the s372. Now I have to figure out how it fits on my setup and see if I can just cut the flange off the Borg and weld the new flange on and go from there. But I will have other problems being my other turbo is so big and tight in the engine bay that my lower ic pipe may not fit right.

That's because the guy who owns htp use to own pte. He sold his company and decided to get back in the game so he created the htp brand. The difference is there is no corporate overhead that larger companies have. He is doing things the way he wants them not to what higher ups want and actually do. It's really hard to find any info on them being they are such a new company, but pte turbos are some of the best turbos around and now they are better with Harry creating htp.

Yeah I was told by htp that these will spool faster then the pte stuff being they designed the housings and wheel profiles differently. Funny thing is comparing my current turbo to this on, this one is tiny in comparison.

i'm interested in seeing when it starts to spool. my 6466 t4 divided 1.0ar spools pretty quick, so this has my attention lol

I Was told 3 to 500 RPMs depending on mods. With this turbo they only offer .84 and 1.0 a/r in the divided hotside

I got my hotside back from ceramic coating today and took some really ****ty pics lol. Note to self I am not a photographer lol. I am taking my car to a local shop and they are going to cut off the old flange off for the Borg and move it to the HTP flange and then once I get it back exhaust mani and downpipe will go to get coated as well then rewraped to make sure no heat escapes. Or maybe very little heat.
