Talking 3 gauge panel for DIN opening

I've been working on 2 & 3 gauge mounting options and came up with yet another option. I designed a gauge mount to fit the DIN opening of the radio. I guess it could fit many other cars as well, but I designed it specifically for my EVO.
The mounts are CNC machined from 3/8 black ABS plastic. I fashioned them to accept 52mm gauges and to fit easily and securely in the HU opening. I've got 3 of these available because I might as well get 4 made as one, since the price for 1 alone was well over $100.
I've not installed it in the car yet, but the gauges fit in very nicely and can be made very snug by wrapping some tape around the barrell where the go into the mount. I don't think they'll need any additional fasteners, but more means to secure the gauges can easily be provided.
Here are some pictures, I'll mount the gauges in my car and take more pics in the next few days. What do you guys think?

I like to get some of my $$ back from making these 4. I'll keep one and I'll be happy to let the others go for $35 each plus shipping. I guess it will be about $40 including everything. I'll make sure they work first though..... I'd guess that price will be the same for retail once they go into manufacture.

You should make these color matched to the factory bezel. That would be really cool and sell really well if you manufacture them.

You can also try j-spec racing they have an adjustable 3 gauge din panel. I had this before I custom molded my panel.

Hey Joe, that's cool but I'm going to keep 1 for sure . Another one is at a distributors store to test it in other cars. That one will be in their hands for a little while but I can make the other 2 available right away. I only ask to wait for me to make absolutely sure the fit and can be secured in the dash as I expect. Seriously, you have dibs on the 3 if you really want them. PM'd you

That's a good idea but probably not very likely. I dount that I can find material of that exact hue. However, the end user could paint them to match. These could be painted or finished by the buyer in any color wanted

This is exactly what I have been looking for and for $40 I would be all over it. I was going to go with the 42 Draft Design one but it does not fit in the DIN opening on the Evo. Let me know if I get one of these, Paypal at the ready.

Talking

OK guys, so far 2 panels have been spoken for. I have one more to sell and I can do it shipped via UPS in the 48 states for $45. Canada costs more so it's $50. This includes the 4 little screws and washers to secure it in the dash panel.

If there is enough interest, I can have more made

I think I have deleted some emails that some of you sent me about these gauge panels. Please write me again if you get no answer from me very soon.

Thanks,

Manuel
